Therefore, a group of 15 members is formed. With the blessing from, I was the leader of my group which consists of Ong Khai Lim, Teoh Tong Min, Low Zhi Ling, Pang Ling Xiang, Fong Sum Yee, Ang Lee Thing, Leong Siew Mei, Sua Yi Zheng, Lee Wei Pin, Lim Gene-Harn, Amelia Liew YenChi, Sim Dan Zhou, Lam Xin Yee and Ng Pui Yeen.
We started our discussion and at last we decided to take further action after ensuring our location of site. Before that, I shall give my highest appreciation to Tong Min’s mother for helping us in helping us to sew the sarung.
On 16 October 2009, we were glad to find out that our site is at E48A on the left hand side along the staircase. Soon after that, we carried out discussion on how to assemble our boxes while we were pasting our mask on the sarung. After much more discussion and arguments, we decided to open up the boxes and pasted it on the wall with the design like a stair. With the inspiration from TH Rusli, we made changes and improvements until we got his approval and we ended it as a day.
The next day, we constructed two entrances with our additional boxes and started to paste our photos on the box. Then, we pasted our personal portrait on the sarung which is hanging on the wall as well. The sarung without anything pasting on it was being hung outside the lecture hall.
From this project, we learnt the importance of leadership and communications. Without team works, everything will never be done. Our intention is to mount an exhibition and therefore we act by installing the exhibition. The product is the exhibition named Mindshapes: XZbitRUS101. The actors are all the group members in my group which I mentioned earlier on. The rules are simple too. Boxes should be assembled and 5 A4 borderless photos should be pasted on it. The installation is being held from 16-18 October 2009. Finally, the site which is E48A.
