On 2nd October 2009, we gathered at Anjung Budi, USM before we proceed to our site which is the Bukit Jenaton, USM. Once arrived, we had a short briefing by TH Rusli in the Eco-Hub Conference Room. Then, we are introduced to a botanist with the name of Mr. Adnan.
Right after the briefing, we had a breakfast. Next, we divided into two groups with one group working with the sprinkles installing task and the other group was dealing with the tagging task. I was in the sprinkles installing group. With the help and leading by Mr. Adnan, we carried out the sprinkles installation. First of all, we measured the tube by 10 feet and then we poke a hole from just one side and we fixed the sprinkles into the hole. Then, the tube fixed with sprinkles was pulled into the jungle and hung over the trees. The next day we went for tagging process over the jungle. Mr. adnan introduced us various types of plants.
From this project, our intention is to provide our community construction service. Therefore, we act by working at Bukit Jenaton, USM. The product at last was the installation of water sprinkles and also the tagging of plants. The actors of this project are all the 31 students, the studiomasters and also the botanist with his workers. There were numerous rules to be followed when we entered the jungle such as we aren’t made noise and we did not step on the plants. The site is Bukit Jenaton, USM.
